About this Role: Cohesity seeks a dynamic leader of Product Management who will be a player coach responsible for driving our strategy for Data Security and Analytics delivered as a service to our customers. This role requires a charismatic PM leader with strong Product Management and technical skills and deep market knowledge that spans data security and analytics technologies. You will join our growing Helios Product Management team to spearhead our Data Security and Analytics strategy for software running on Cohesity Helios on-prem, in Cloud infrastructure or as a service.

With the vision of revolutionizing data management, we have built platforms to collect huge volumes of user/machine generated data to power a variety of use cases. In this role, you will be responsible for proposing strategy, iterating new hypotheses, designing experiments, defining machine learning models, productionizing models at scale and be the subject matter expert and consult and guide company wide data/machine learning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop and bring to market the next generation of disruptive data management platforms on-prem, in the cloud, solutions and partner integrations
• Analyze customer needs, target markets and trends, competitive environments and partner offerings to identify business opportunities
• Establish best practices around productizing ML based applications and drive/own business strategy
• Work with engineering to translate customer pain points to data driven experiments and solutions. Help engineering understand areas where machine learning and model based approaches can help and drive synergies.
• Mentor, hire and coach other PMs in India; act as the Product Management leader for the APAC and EMEA Geos.
• Responsible for creating Product requirements, Product pricing, Project plan, Product and Competitive Positioning, Product, Technical and Sales collateral

Requirements :

• Minimum 8-10 years experience in product management with 2-3 years managing PMs, responsible for developing and managing complete product life cycle from inception to End of life processes.
• Strongly prefer candidates with a proven track record of launching security and analytics software that run on-prem or in the cloud.
• Hands-on experience launching machine learning (supervised/unsupervised) products.
• Understanding or experience with Apache Spark, deep learning is a plus
• Experience with Cloud based ML platforms is a strong plus
• Experience with NLP is nice to have
• Experience with Sagemaker/MLflow/Kubeflow is a plus
• Good understanding of Enterprise readiness, platform supportability, interoperability, hardening, security, and compliance requirements
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively and lead cross-functional teams
• Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization through strong working relationships
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to build product cost models and forecasts, perform product and market comparisons
• Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and solve complex problems with available resources
• Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification/experience, MBA Strongly preferred
