Job Description

nullIn this role, you have the opportunity to:You will be part of Philips Device Diagnostics , which is revolutionizing the medical device industry with a broad suite of technologies that make imaging and therapy simpler, more informative and less invasive. Our products empower physicians around the world with a new generation of analytical tools that deliver more meaningful information using light and sound as the guiding elements.Philips Diagnostics devices(IGTD) intravascularultrasound (IVUS) product line includes ultrasound consoles that can be integrated directly into virtually any modern cath lab and single use disposable imaging catheters unique to the system. IGTD IVUS offerings are used by clinicians to measure the stage and severity of disease present in cardiac and peripheral vessels. IVUS is also used in post-stent placement procedures to confirm adequate expansion of the stent and full apposition to the vessel wall.The IGTD team in PIC is responsible for the design, development and verification of the clinical platforms for the consoles. This team also works collaboratively with the partner sites in San Diego, Rancho Cordova, Best and Israel.You are responsible for:

  • Contributes to and reviews program vision, roadmap and content presentations
  • Prepares and participates in release planning, contributes to program increment planning, program backlog refinement, and preparation/prioritization of portfolio backlogs to continuously synthesize into program backlog and then to team backlog.
  • Drafts the team s specific objectives for the program increment
  • Defines iterations and stories for the team(s). Builds, edits, reviews and reprioritizes the team(s) backlog coordinating dependencies with other POs
  • Has the primary responsibility for maintaining the story flow, possibly embedded in the agile team(s).
  • Defines stories and provides input for user story details and priorities, establishes story acceptance criteria, accepts stories into the baseline / the final iteration plan.
  • Supports team(s) with their story estimates and sequencing. Facilitates and leads sprint planning and grooming sessions.
  • Coordinates with other product owners on content dependencies
  • Manages content deliverables and dependencies to external suppliers
  • Facilitates inter-team dependencies in the respective sprints
  • Participates in team demo and retrospectives.
  • Works with other product owners to produce the system demo, delivers system demo for his scope to the business owner and product management team
  • Ensures validation of the system with the client.
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:10+ years with relevant Product Owner experience of minimum 2 yearsWork experience on systems used in healthcare is a plus.Experience in working in project teams, involving SW designers, SW engineers.Firm decision maker and shall possess good influencing skills.Excellent communication and documentation skills.Ability to stay focused on the target in an ambiguous situation.Openness to collaborate in interest of project/organization.Shall be very good technically; possess systems mindset and good problem solving abilities.Working with multisite teams, Quality conscious and Process & customer Oriented.Coaching capabilities.Has a good understanding software engineering principles and specifically of life cycle activitiesHas required engineering knowledge to be able to solve problems effectivelyIn return, we offer you:A growth path as a Product Owner with most rewarding career.
