Job Description

Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs (PSRA) Specialist What you will doThis position is part of Product Stewardship and Regulatory Affairs Department. The PSRA Specialist is fundamental to support of the entire PSRA initiatives by maintaining critical information helping to manage regulatory compliance activities such as REACH, ROHS WEEE, TSCA, etc. as well as global chemical inventory compliance. Maintaining toxicology files and regulatory databases for Compliance, Hazard Communication and legal support. Gather product ingredient and regulatory information from suppliers of products and raw materials.How you will do it

  • Provide support to the PSRA team by implementing systems, procedures, and completing projects in support of compliance tracking for raw materials and finished products.
  • Ensure completion of regulatory and risk management assessment for compliance to applicable regulations including but not limited to TSCA, FDA, OSHA, EPA, DEA, Customs, etc.
  • Responsible for product document control of all regulatory and applicable documents on products.
  • Ensure the validation and creation of Certificates and Declarations as necessary.
  • Assist in annual product reporting requirements as necessary.
  • Develop expertise in relation to the regulations by maintaining current knowledge of the laws and regulations in order to provide updated information and respond quickly and accurately to customer requests, internal personnel and suppliers.
  • Request and maintain required compliance documentation (RoHS, REACH, Conflict Minerals, TSCA etc.) for products.
  • Complete product qualification documents and customer quality surveys.
What we look forRequired
  • Minimum Bachelor s Degree in Chemical/Biological sciences, Toxicology or related field of Engineering.
  • 5+ years experience in the product stewardship, regulatory and compliance field.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, being able to communicate effectively with a global engineering team.
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency of MSOffice
Preferred
  • Experience in working with chemical products, articles and product regulatory compliance
  • An understanding of global regulations.
  • Experience working other regulatory agencies
