Job Description

    *- Strong knowledge on Wiring Devices products (Switches, Socket outlet, Fan regulator, Dimmer etc)- Good knowledge in New Product design / development process- - Proficient in design of plastic parts & Sheet metal parts.- Excellent skills in concept generation in constrained mechanical systems- Good Knowledge on> Project planning of design activities> Value engineering> Tolerance analysis, GD&T> Verification & Validation (Standards understanding)> CAD tools : Pro/E (Well versed in PDM, PLM)> DFM (various manufacturing technologies, limitations, defects, etc.)- Knowledge on materials selection- Knowledge of product assembly and manufacturing processes for plastic and sheet metal parts- Knowledge on CAD (Creo), Tolerance analysis, PDM, PLM, - Knowledge on Quality aspects (Risk mitigation, RCA, Quality tools, xFMEA.)- Qualification of components/Sub-assemblies/products (as per Global / Local / Internal standards)- Knowledge of IEC and Indian standards for Wiring Devices and safety standards- Proven record of leading multidisciplinary global teams in complex project environment for at least 4-5 years- Actively contributes towards Innovation and development activities- Good presentation, communication skills & Leadership qualities, *Graduate degree In Mechanical EngineeringOverall, 10 to 15 years of experience
