Today we offer our customers solutions that feature a seamless blend of diverse technologies, ensuring optimal interfaces, along with flexible implementation and real synergy in innovation.Roles & Responsiblities:TENDER Phase* Manage the sourcing activity of the Tender and the ref lib* Drive Solution / Sourcing Domains relation to define the Platform Sourcing Strategy: collects and challenges functionnal requirements on commodity, tenders short term visibility, business forecasts, market constraints and QCD targets per commodity, animates workshops between Sourcing Domains and Solution team, provides regular feed back on strategy application and effiency* Drive material cost optimisation of the Reference Library: collects and formalizes Return on Experience on solutions which were successful or not in projects, brings new ideas, challenges Solution requirements when relevant, ensures implementation in liaison with Sourcing Domains, identifies risks and mitigation plans* Consolidate sourcing QCD commitment at tender phase: provides requirements (by gap) to Sourcing Domains and challenges them when relevant, consolidates the material cost commitment, proposes ambitions based on Reference Library improvement lans, uses Tender Sourcing Plan to check position Vs Cost & LCC Baseline, Panel compliancePROJECT Phase* Manage the sourcing activity of the Project* Ensure project needs are properly communicated to Sourcing and challenges them: supports Domains to get optimized functionnal requirements, challenges new gaps compared to tender commitments, incorporates Return on Experience and maximises re-use of proven solutions* Define and implement the Project Sourcing Strategy in full respect of QCD commitments: launch RFQ and negotiate with suppliers for the gaps, ensure proper supplier selection through Business Award process, asks for arbitration when relevant, supervises contracts execution of selected suppliers supported by Quality and Supply Chain, facilitates co-operation between Engineering and Sourcing, defines co-developpement plan and Make or Buy strategy with Project team* Is owner of the QCD outsourced material scope committed at tender stage and reviewed at project first review: ensures continuity with tender commitments through transfer meetings, reviews periodically the QCD outsourced material scope and prepares Sector Project Reviews with Work packages Owners and Finance, manages risks and ambitions* Lead cost improvement plans: challenges Domains and project teams to generate cost optimization ideas, ensures actions are documented and saving calculated in a total cost of ownership base, ensures action plan is shared by project team and savings recognized by Finance (Sector Project Review), monitors the progress of actions decided and raises road blocks or risks, makes regular reporting* Ensure sourcing central strategy is applied, as well as processes: makes sure that supplier selection is made in compliance with Commmodity Sourcing strategy (panel, LCC objectives, dual sources.), ensures QCD performance of suppliers is properly reported and claim process is in place and efficientSKILLS & EDUCATIONEDUCATION
• Bachelors in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES:
• Project Management skills
  • Working knowledge on project management tools, MS Projects or excel
  • Strong level of risk anticipation, risk assessment and risk mitigation straetgies.
  • Ability to coordinate with different stakeholders in the project phase
  • Prior experience in a project/ program management environment in global organization is important
  • Must have handled a high value or critical program independently and completely ( start to end) across various gate reviews.
• Commercial skills
  • Evaluation of supplier quotations utilizing total cost, should cost /target cost, appropriate negotiation and purchasing analysis techniques with emphasis on quality, price, delivery and service
  • Sourcing experience, capability to handle large supplier contact /negotiation
  • Good knowledge of taxation and contract management is desirable.
  • Analytical skills to perform budget variance, quote comparison
  • Knowledege of excel all analytical calculations is important.
• Soft / Behavioural skills
  • Good level of communication spoken and written English.
  • Influential communication skills with global teams
  • Assertive and Dynamic. Deadline driven and low tolerance for delays.
  • Personally very well organized. Ability to work in independent and autonomous manner.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
• Technical skills
  • Good understanding of Railway industry supplier base.
  • To understand/evaluate capabilities of existing and potential Indian suppliers to facilitate strategic sourcing while meeting all quality, cost and growth expectations.
  • Good knowledge or ability to scout/discover new suppliers for various C class items.
• Work Experience : 12 to 16 years
