Job Description

Responsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for company products with adherence to both internal and external standards. Develops and executes software test plans. Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures. Maintains documentation of test results. Analyzes test results and recommends corrective actions.As a member of the technical/process QA division, you will design functional, integration and regression test plans, build and execute manual and automated tests and perform highly complex analysis for multiple products. Set cross-functional product testing standards. Analyze, evaluate and plan methods of approach and organize means to achieve solutions to complex problems.Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. Our quality team is global with locations in the US and India.Posting DescriptionPrincipal Quality Assurance Engineer for FSCM Enterprise/PeopleSoft QA team.- Position is atBANGALORE location only- Functional knowledge with hands on experience inPeopleSoft Financials or Supply chain productsis a mustResponsibilitiesResponsible for developing, applying and maintaining quality standards for financial and supply chain management related products with adherence to both internal and external standards.Handle the testing efforts of regulatory and statutory changes in financial and supply chain management products.Analyze and write test standards and procedures. Develop and execute software test plans. Maintain documentation of test results. Analyze test results and recommend corrective actions.Participate in review of functional and technical specification documents to understand the approach of implementation of various measurable criteria.Prepare automation scripts by utilizing PeopleSoft automation too l PTF to ensure the functional regression coverage. Maintain the scripts with high quality.Analyze and take corrective action of the Automation test executions.Interact and coordinate with different stake holders to achieve the Organization s objectives.Willing to work in Projects that uses Agile SCRUM methodology.QualificationsQualified Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, MBA Finance and who are in IT industry for atleast 5 years would be desirable or B.Com with 10+ years for Financial productsorQualified Engineering//Science post graduates/MCAs and who are in IT industry for atleast 5 years would be desirable or Science graduates with 10+ years for Supply Chain productsCandidate should have good functional knowledge in PeopleSoft Finance or Supply chain productsCandidates who are currently working as Business Analyst, Product Specialist, Functional Consultant, Implementation Experts would be ideal if they are willing to take up a Quality Assurance RoleExperience in Unit, Functional, Regression and Integration testing of Web based applications is desirableProficiency in preparation of Test Plan, Test Scenarios, Test cases and Test dataHaving good experience in writing and executing test cases, reporting and verifying bugsResults-driven and able to handle the dynamics of rapid release schedule.,
