Job Description

As a QA Manager at WorkSpan you will:

  • Work closely with and be a part of development teams to cultivate a quality culture
  • Implement and enhance QA methodologies to ensure delivery of predictable, high - quality product releases
  • Think out of the box in terms of testing and propose solutions to the challenges you see
  • Build and grow and manage a team of exceptional QA engineers
  • Gather, analyze and report team and quality metrics which demonstrate business value and show continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams distributed across multiple locations
  • Creatively solve technical QA challenges with the team
  • Influence key Go/No Go decisions on product readiness
  • Guide the design and development of testing strategies based on project requirements
Requirements:
  • Experience in Automation & Deployment process in a SaaS Environment
  • Experience in testing SQL / Database technologies / Mobile Technologies
  • 8 + years of hands - on experience in QA Automation related roles
  • 2+ years of experience in managerial roles
  • Sound knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, web development processes and the delivery of solutions
  • Excellent leadership skills, strong and innovative approach to problem - solving and finding solutions
  • Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science from a Tier - 1 college (B.E from IITs, BITS - Pilani, IIITs, top NITs, DTU, NSIT or MS in Stanford, UC, MIT, CMU, UW - Madison, ETH, top global schools) or exceptional work history is a requirement.
