Responsibilities
Design and develop manual test for web and Mobile applications
Take complete ownership of release deliverable in your functional areas
Focus on customer centric testing
Be the quality gatekeeper and ensure zero escapes to production
Be able to mitigate risks for release deliverables and communicate release readiness to all stakeholders
Adapt to and suggest process improvements for uplifting product quality
Identify performance/load test scope needed in your functional areas
Work with an awesome team in a fast- paced and collaborative environment
Qualifications
6+ years of experience in Quality Assurance
Excellent knowledge in testing skills (design test plan and test strategy , writing test cases , executing test cases , opening bugs , verifying bugs)
Hands- on Java programming Scripting , Unix scripting , White box testing experience in JAVA TestNG/ jUnit
Experience working with web applications , web services and/or mobile technologies such as HTML , CSS , Javascript , XML , HTTP Protocol
Experience in building executing automated tests for REST based services
Working knowledge on Selenium or other automated testing tools
Critical thinker and problem- solving skill
Infrastructure maintenance and debugging skills for QA environments
Should have good exposure to agile principles and scrum- based work- model
Hands- on experience with Eclipse or other IDE development tools
Experience with distributed source control systems such as Git
Strong analytical and investigative problem- solving skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
Nice to have- experience with AWS
