About UsLam Research is a leading global manufacturer of capital equipment used in making leading-edge-semiconductors across the world. We primarily compete in four specific areas deposition, etch, photoresist strip, and single wafer clean. Lam Research India team is organized into three major areas of responsibility: Hardware, Software, and Operations. One of the major functional group of this entity is LIGHT (Lam India Global Hardware Technology). LIGHT has completed more than a decade of growth and has emerged as a major new product development and sustaining engineering team for Lam s global engineering footprint.There is an opening for the role of Quality Program Manager Engineer within Customer Support Business Group (CSBG) of LIGHT organization, to lead program management activities for the group. This position will be based out of Bangalore and will closely be working with the Engineering & Cross functional teams across global regions of Lam Research like US & India. CSBG mainly focuses on delivering value to customers throughout the product lifecycle by providing Spares, Upgrades, and services to maximize the value of customer capital assets.This high energy individual will collaborate with global stakeholders and different product groups to manage all aspects of Quality issues, including initiating programs, tracking, reporting progress and actively collaborating with teams to address issues. Meet Corporate metrics and goals set to achieve excellence and deliver fast solutions to our global Customer. Job Responsibilities

  • Program Manage Quality Issues related to cross organization groups (Spares, Upgrades, and Reliant/Legacy Systems)
  • Drive for quality improvements by working with Engineering, Product management, Supply chain, and other Cross functional organizations
  • Perform Data Analysis related to quality and determine actionable insights to improve quality
  • Represent Business Group in multi-functional meetings
Mandatory skills
  • Excellent Problem-solving skills with emphasis on prevention
  • Experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Command over quality tools such as Pareto FMEA /Fault tree diagram/Fish bone diagram etc.
  • Experience in Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage R&R, Pareto Charts etc. using tools like JMP, Minitab
  • Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma processes, statistics or quality systems experience
  • Must have good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work on multiple problems simultaneously
  • Excellent people skills and ability to work in matrix environment
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor s in Engineering / Science with minimum 8 years of relevant experience, in Manufacturing/Quality/Design in Semiconductor or automotive or other High-tech industry
  • Semiconductor industry knowledge preferred
Desirable Skill
  • Full time MBA in Business Operations from a reputed institute
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in semiconductor capital equipment industry will be preferred
  • Six Sigma certification
  • Knowledge of Quick base development is an added advantage
