Deep domain knowledge enables us to truly understand and address the challenges and opportunities of Industrial Automation.This is a Research and Development (R&D) Software Test Lead, reporting to the R&D Product Manager in Business Area Process Automation and located in Bangalore. You will be contributing with own ideas to identifying, proposing and implementing innovative technology development and solutions.Your responsibilities

  • Understating the features, developing test cases and test execution for web/desktop products in pulp and paper industry.
  • Working with Project Managers to understand scope, features and estimating testing and automation effort for new projects, planning testing activities with local and remote teams.
  • Collaborating with development teams, providing inputs in product meetings to create high quality products within the defined schedules and budgets.
  • Should have experience in manual testing as well automation testing using relevant tools and managing test cases and test results and Bugs In TFS/VSTS and capability of becoming proficient at installing and configuring test.
  • Environments, troubleshooting the software, and staying current with upgrades, updates and patches.
  • Being able to provide strategic sales, training, and customer/application support.

Your background
  • Must have bachelor s degree in B.E/B.Tech /MCA with 60% and above.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Integration test planning and execution and 3 years of experience in test automation using Unit test frameworks.
  • Must have experience working with Pulp & paper industry applications & knowledge of any DCS/PLC/SCADA applications will be an added advantage.
  • Must have Experience in API & non-functional testing, experience working in an Agile development environment, TFS & Microsoft testing tools (MTM, Test controller, Test Agents).
  • Must have experience working with virtual environments (VMware/HyperView/Azure) and ability to understand new features / use cases and developing test cases.
  • Must have worked on C#, PowerShell scripts and to learn and adapt new technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in interfacing FTP, TCP/IP, OPC-UA/DA.
  • Must have awareness on the build process and problem-solving skills.
