Job Description

    Cloud and Network Services is a leading Nokia business group that offers Network solutions on Core, Business and Enterprise segments, as well as Cloud solutions and Cognitive Services. It is a newly formed business group, that includes most of the former Nokia Software business, Nokia s enterprise solutions, core network solutions including both voice and packet core, and managed and advanced services from its former Global Services unit. This unit will also act as a delivery channel of certain products from other business groups to enterprise customers. Cloud and Network Services (CNS) will target growth by leveraging the industry transition to cloud-based delivery, network-as-a-service business models, and software-led value creation.As Nokias growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.What you will learn and contribute to To design, develop and test Software Solution with customer first mindset. To align with design and software coding standards to keep up with the industry quality standards. Experience with container technologies such as Docker/Kubernetes and IAC, IT automation tools. Experience in using open source solutions, any open source contributions would be highly valued Experience with Linux based system and well versed with the understanding on Hardware/Software Architecture specially VMWare, VIO, Telco and Public Cloud. Experience with configuration management tools and orchestration, preferably Ansible and Terraform. Experience with one of the public cloud provider (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure). Experience with GitLab, Gerrit, and with Continuous Integration (CI) tools, preferably Jenkins Your skills and experience: Bachelor s in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent At least 8+ years of work experience Development experience with demonstrable knowledge in Python or Go. Knowledge in Containerized Applications, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Kubernetes Operator Knowledge of cloud storage solutions on top of AWS, GCP, Azure and/or on-perm private cloud, such as Ceph, CephFS, GlusterFS DevOps: Jenkins, Git, Gerrit, Azure DevOps, Ansible, Terraform Good Understanding on Solutions such as Keycloak for IAM, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, DBaaS, datalake based on Hadoop General understanding of networking technologies and protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, TLS handshakes, authentication, HTTP, WebSockets and gRPC and HTTP proxies) Nokia is committed to inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer Nokia has received the following recognitions for its commitment to inclusion & equality:
