We have an excellent opportunity with one of our client Please find the details belowDesignation : Specialist - Records to ReportJob Location: BangaloreCTC : Competitive Pay, Based on PerformanceJob Purpose : The role applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. Responsible for accounting requirements for assigned areas to be completed timely and accurately.Major Accountabilities :

  • Interact proactively with functional areas to ensure accurate accounting and financial reporting is accomplished within prescribed deadlines and in accordance with Companys Accounting Manual
  • Prepare accurate monthly balance sheet account analyses and reconciliations, including analyses for balance sheet reviews
  • Prepare accurate journal entries and execute transactions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders, including Finance colleagues and Regional Financial Reporting and Accounting. Communication with these stakeholders is appropriate and timely when questions regarding accounting/reporting matters arise.
  • Ensure all processes comply with Company standards and policies (i.e. global processes, Companys Accounting Manual, Companys Financial Controls Manual, Management Authorization Levels, etc.).
  • Understand impacts to the general ledger for assigned areas due to other intra- and inter-departmental transactions and activity from other functional departments.
  • Prepare accurate journal entries in a timely manner
Education:
  • Minimum University degree, preferably Bachelor of Accounting/Commerce.
Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with an outsourcing or financial service organization. Experience supporting shared service functions preferred but not required.
Special Professional Competencies:
  • Ability to work in strict deadlines
  • Positive attitude with a focus on continuous process improvement
  • Ability to apply accounting practices.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills and SAP knowledge is an added advantage.
