    • Job Title: Bogie Railway Dynamics Engineer
    • Purpose of the Job: Railway Dynamics engineer, responsible for requirement synthesis and evaluation of running safety of train through calculations.

    MissionsPerformance Measurement/KPI s Department s QCD KPIs100% on-time deliveringClosure of open-points or escalation: As per the project Deadlines100% Compliance to Engineering Work Package (variation orders excluded)Conduct / Plan / Drive Design reviews and Gate reviews as per Project ScheduleManage the RwD Team work loadResponsibilities Responsible for Requirement Management in DOORS tool.Prepare Railway Dynamics Management planTo be able to synthesize the Track parameters and convert it to usable SIMPACK format for building the input parameters.Expertise in Analytical skills and identify the model error if any at early stage of projectModelling of rail systems in SIMPACKUnderstand characteristics of the suspension (springs, rubber elements, pneumatic suspension, shock absorbers).Analyze to check the train safety (flexibility coefficient, derailment, etc.) and comfort parameters to obtain the optimal solution.Propose design solutions on suspensions to the technical manager of the business to ensure a good dynamic performance of vehicles.Understand the dynamic requirements from tender specifications.Manage the Railway Dynamic calculations and report preparation.Monitors test results from train validation.Responsible for giving clarifications to customer questions and resolve any issuesHelp Validation team to pass on the requirements, inputs considerations and post processing of the acquired dataExpert in MATLAB used for automation and result postprocessingCorrelate the simulation results and test results and continuous improvement of hypothesis and inputsJob Specifications
    • Knowledge & Experience:
    • Mechanical Engineer degree or technical experience 5+Yrs. Railway Background and Bogie Knowledge is preferred.
