Job Description

As a key member of the West HR and recruiting team, this person will help us shape the future talent profile of West. By identifying and attracting top talent to West for entry and mid-level roles, this recruiting specialist will have the opportunity to play a key role as the organization grows and transforms. This individual will become a partner with client stakeholders and will work to develop, communicate and execute jointly on recruiting plans unique to either a specific role or a program, such as university hiring. He/she will be responsible for recruitment execution that helps us achieve a seamless, positive candidate and client experience no matter what the hiring decision might be. Ultimately, he/she will assist West in efficiently delivering on its talent needs to achieve our immediate and future business goals.

  • Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment plans
  • Support the execution of West s university relations strategy to include on-going cultivation and relationship building with campus representatives, diversity organizations, and student organizations to build talent pipelines for entry-level roles within West
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and HR partners to develop a nuanced understanding of department culture, business strategy and ideal candidate profiles to deliver effectively on the hiring needs of the business
  • Conduct in-depth candidate screens and assess potential candidates for level of interest, qualifications, compensation requirements and overall fit to the organization
  • Help identify and convert hard-to-find passive talent by constantly exploring new talent channels and tapping into those channels to introduce them to West and the West employee value proposition
  • Work to deliver a diverse slate of candidates wherever possible
  • Establish and build relationships with other recruiters to share knowledge, HR trends and experiences to execute best practices enterprise wide
  • Manage the global employee referral process by tracking all referrals and submitting regular referral bonus reports to Payroll
  • Responsible for all US salaried internal and external candidate interview scheduling
  • Manage all activities within the West applicant tracking system (ATS) and accurately track and report recruitment activity data to support staffing metrics
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned based on business needs.
  • Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instruction, and all safety rules.
  • Exhibit reliable, punctual and predictable attendance
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Business or Human Resources discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years professional experience with experience in Talent Acquisition preferred
  • Willingness to travel up to 5% domestically
  • Ability to multitask in a high pressure environment
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to analyze job descriptions and candidate profiles to determine target profile needs and appropriate match
  • Excellent consultative skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, applicant tracking systems and social media channels
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage deliverables and timelines independently
