SDN Controller Test Engineer Nokias IP Division is recruiting highly motivated Software Developers & Test Engineers. Our Team is developing exciting new products that allow our customers to build and control their datacentre networks. Nokia s FSP is an intent driven, microservice based platform. It provides the openness, flexibility, robustness and automation to make data centre and cloud environments easier to scale, adapt and operate.It is built using various next generation technologies, including - Golang, Kafka, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, MongoDB, Keycloak etc. Web application frameworks (REACT), HTML5, JavaScript, Rest FSP Test Team is a fast-paced team working in dynamic environment testing application that is best in class network orchestration solutions. You will be exposed to the latest technologies in telecom specifically around Virtualization and SDN. Successful candidate s responsibilities will include - Testing of features and enhancements made in product to achieve customer high availability network requirements, while reaching defined scale and performance targets. Automating complete end-to-end feature testing and integrating the same in Regression Environment. We believe there is no testing that s not 100% automated. Working in a team-based agile environment; collaborate with Developers, and Product Management to refine requirements, and test our Carrier grade solutions. Interacting with Support Teams to provide software solutions to field-reported issues. Keenly following and participating in standardization activities in this space. Your skills and experience You have: Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field. Programming/Scripting experience in Python Web Automation experience in Selenium or any other similar technologies. Experience of testing and automating distributed scale-out backend systems and large web-scale systems Knowledge of debugging & troubleshooting microservice based applications running in open-source container orchestration platform like Kubernetes Experience on technologies like ELK, Prometheus, Kafka, Docker and databases like Mondo, Redis, neo4j etc. Knowledge of network management concepts and basic protocols like GNMI etc. Understanding of Basic IP Networking (Routing & Switching) is must. It would be nice if you also had: Knowledge/experience with Kubernetes. Knowledge on Datacentre architecture and protocols like BGP, L2VPN, L3VPN, VXLAN, EVPN is great.
