What You ll DoDrive technology design, implementation, execution, and/or optimization for projects/accounts to accelerate customer outcomes.Assist customers with integration and implementation of tools, systems, and service assurance for Cisco technologies.Support presale activities and translate business requirements into solution design.Build customer simulations in test labs to resolve/validate sophisticated issues.Build and deliver customer collateral, documentation, and knowledge transfer.Drive customer technology transitions, influencing solution architectures and services.Align with and support company policies and processes and utilize relevant tools to efficiently execute the role and support Professional Services strategies and goals.Play the role of an individual contributor.Decision Making / ImpactDecisions impact the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related, including multi-functional teams.Ability to understand and communicate project scope and map it to customer business goals and objectives.Role and specific responsibilitiesAssociate with customers along with appropriate internal and external resources deployment/optimization of Cisco services and solutions.Takes ownership of task/project implementation for assigned engagements.Implement new techniques and methodologies utilized in customer delivery and share lessons learned with the broader team.Builds and reviews project work e.g. Design recommendations, High-Level Design, Low-Level Design, Implementation/ Change Management Plans.Builds and/or use test environments as the need arises to resolve sophisticated problems & compatibility issues.Demonstrates software skills and tools to configure, deploy Cisco products and solutions.Gives in the development of digital intellectual capital (e.g. scripts, digital signatures).Acts as a focal point for problem resolution for assigned customer engagements. Our success is validated through extraordinary financial results, increasing customer happiness metrics, industry recognition, and employee satisfaction scores.Who You AreExpertiseExperience in planning, designing, implementing and solving problems complex Cisco UC solutions for enterprise level customers.3+ years of experience in designing, installing, configuring, and solving the Cisco UC applications such as CUCM, Unity Connection, CUCME, SRST, UCCX, CER, IM&P.Experience on Digital/Analog voice gateways, media resources such as conferencing, transcoding, MTP, and MoH and voice endpoints such as IP phones, and CIPC (softphones).Experience with planning and executing moderate-scale UC upgrade and migration activities.Experience in fixing Cisco Telepresence, Cisco Meeting Server video conferencing, Cisco Expressway, MRA and B2B calls for customersExperience with Cisco Cloud Meetings and Messaging solution Cisco Webex Centers, Cisco Webex Cloud Connected Audio, Cisco Webex Meetings Server, Cisco Collaboration Meeting RoomsGood understanding of telephony dial plan design, implementation, and call control/routing protocols such as H.323, MGCP, SIP, SCCP, Q.SIG, CAS, ISDN PRI, FXO, FXS, and POTS.Good in TCP/IP concepts and protocols like DHCP, DNS, TFTP, NTP, and LDAP.Experience with UCS B/C series platforms and VMware technologies such as vCenter, vSphere EXSi, and vSphere client.Knowledge of Collaboration QoS desired.Professional level (e.g. CCNP) or equivalent relevant certification desired.Good in software programmability, automation, orchestration and/or virtualization.Leadership / AutonomyReceives limited supervision. Receives little instruction on routine work and new assignments. Provides guidance and mentoring to other engineers. Translates team goals into work assignments.Being a trusted advisor & mentor.
