Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.This role is based in CNS Core Networks Technology & Platforms Tech Office where strategy on Technology development, portfolio architecture and usability of core networks are envisioned. You will be part of a team of senior architects who will set the foundations of technology leadership for core networks portfolio. Some of the technologies the team works on includes: 4G/5G Telco Network functions using 3GPP/IETF/ETSI standards, Cloud Native, Operability/Usability, DevOps & Automation, XaaS design models, AI/ML & Data science strategies, Design for Robustness/Availability/Reliability, etc. What you will learn and contribute to Are you passionate about creating & developing ideas/technologies and solving problems As part of our team, your responsibilities are:
    • Lead contributor to the Automation Architecture for Nokia Core Enterprise Solution.
    • Develop deep understanding of portfolio products, including network planning, rollout and operations as required for Enterprise Solution.
    • Recognize the automation needs across all customer touchpoints covering Day 0/1/2 operations (network planning, rollout, operations, upgrade) and define the perfect automation solution.
    • Author Technical specifications and Architectural guidance for individual automation themes/topics. Contribute to the technology roadmap.
    • Align on solution direction by interfacing with other stakeholders such as CNS Core R&Ds, PLM, Services, etc on key technology topics.
    • Working with the engineering leads to plan cross-portfolio requirements, ensuring requirements are implemented consistently across products.
    • Interfacing with key customers to explain architecture approaches and solution details.
    Your experience, skills and competencies:
    • Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience in Electronics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a software related discipline.
    • At least 10 years of progressive product development, design and architecture experience of medium/large sized products with recent emphasis on automation concepts and frameworks.
    • Very strong understanding of Core landscape of products & solution from engineering mindset.
    • Ability to see the big picture combined with willingness to work on technical details where required.
    • Experience of working in worldwide virtual teams.
    • Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex technical problems clearly and concisely.
    • Exceptional work ethic, the ability to work and discover independently, self-motivated, driven and a strong desire to succeed.
