Job Area Engineering - Customer Engineering Location India - Bangalore Job Overview Role: The BDC Post Silicon Engineering group has an opening for a RF and Mixed-Signal Bench Characterization Engineer. This group develops Test solutions for design verification of highly integrated Receivers/Transmitters/Transceivers, Power management, Analog and Mixed signal ASICs designed by QCT. Job responsibilities for this position include New Test methodology implementation, Device Verification and Characterization, Design and debug of Test interface hardware, Test automation, and Data analysis. Skills/Experience: Solid understanding of Electronics engineering fundamentals, Mixed-signal and RF circuit analysis techniques. Good knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF measurement techniques such as Harmonics, EVM, IP3, Noise Figure, ACPR, Jitter, Phase noise and Lock time. Good ASIC device level characterization skills. System level knowledge is a plus. Able to work hands on with Lab equipment like Oscilloscope, Spectrum analyzer, Signal Generator and Digitizer. Expertise on developing test automation through remote control of instrument using LAN, GPIB USB interfaces Solid software skills for writing and debugging Test code. Competency in at least 1 software language. Expertise in LabVIEW is a plus. Knowledge of Mixed-signal and RF PCB design and test board debug. Using CAD software such as Mentor Graphics DA or Cadence Allegro is a plus. Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques, quality and reliability testing. Wafer fabrication fundamentals is a plus. Able to work independently with initiative through challenges, Technical or otherwise. Able to communicate clearly, organize effectively and document work thoroughly while working with local and global teams.
