Job Description

    As a Senior Associate, youll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

    Working with the team and engagement leader, you will take responsibility for various areas of the engagement, which may include:
    • Supporting assessments of clients operations to determine opportunities for improvement
    • Supporting delivery of engagements in alignment with client objectives and expectations
    • Supporting vendor risk assessment engagements with multinational banking and financial services companies.
    • Supporting third party risk management for one of the largest private sector banks in India covering 200+ vendors
    • Supporting engagement for a large UK based bank to manage their vendors risk assessment framework, streamline the process and provide recommendations for key gaps emerging from existing processes
    • Various vendor risk management projects involving the complete life cycle of risk identification, measurement, remediation and monitoring.
    • Supporting business development activities such as preparing responses to tenders, supporting and participating in sales pitches and winning new work
    • Conducting market research to support the development of new client relationships and opportunities.
    • Ownership of your personal development to ensure you are equipped with the skills relevant to the proposition now and in the future.
    • Coaching junior members of the team, providing support, training, and feedback.
    • Participating in proposition development activities to make R&RM a great place to work .
    Interpersonal skills:
    • Exposure to one or more of our proposition areas including governance, risk and controls, third party risk management, compliance or operations resilience.
    • Experience of working on operating model transformations to define business requirements, design new processes and systems and implement them with the client
    • Project/program management experience including the creation of project plans, budgets, risks and issues and status reporting
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, in particular ability to write concise and accurate reports and create and deliver compelling presentations.
    • A desire to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple internal and external stakeholders, working on a wide range of projects and initiatives.
    • Flexibility in your approach to meeting goals as part of the wider team.
    Client management:
    • Develop strong working relationships with the client and onshore client teams.
    • Maintain excellent rapport and proactive communication with the stakeholders and clients.

    • Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity, including through the use of technology, and identify opportunities for improving client service.
    • Ensure compliance with engagement plans and internal quality & risk management procedures.

    Minimum qualifications:
    • Bachelors/Master s Degree in Commerce / Economics / MBA/ BBA (or) Chartered Accountant
    • Experience in retail, wholesale, commercial or investment banking and capital markets
    • Experience in identifying control gaps and communicating audit findings and control redesign recommendations to clients
    • Understanding of audit concepts and regulations
    • Candidates with 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in similar role, preferably with a Big 4 or equivalent
