A safety manager is responsible for overseeing and enforcing all safety measures in a laboratory, warehouse, factory, or office. The job description of a safety manager involves detailed knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Administration (OHSA) guidelines and the ability to detect and eradicate any health and safety hazards accordingly.Position DescriptionA safety manager inspects work areas, products, and employee work habits to ensure that everything is in compliance with OHSA rules and environmental safety guidelines, and makes changes to improve the safety of the workplace when necessary.Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Safety ManagerDesigns and implements safety programs for designated company or workspace.Stays up to date on state and federal workplace safety regulations. Runs informational meetings for employees regarding proper health and safety habits and procedures at work.Identifies health and safety hazards.Recommends ways to improve health and safety in the workplace.Writes up reports detailing health and safety issues.Presents reports and suggestions for improvement to company CEO or general manager.Fields inquiries from employees about proper safety procedures.Responds to on-site emergencies and accidents.Investigates on-the-job accidents and writes up reports.Identifies hazards or faults that caused the accident and devises strategic plan to remedy those problems.Monitors work place on a daily basis to ensure all activity meets safety compliance.Conducts official audits of the lab, factory, or office.All interested candidate to send their documents and resume to our company email( hrd@caillebhotel.com ).
