Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales team . Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company s customer base and ensure it s strong presence . Setting objectives , coaching and performance monitoring of sales representatives . Identifies target customers and prepares database . Travels and Meets potential customers to studying/ understand their requirements and subsequently providing the right solution . Develop and implement new sales initiatives , strategies and programs to capture key demographics Sell to existing and potential direct accounts and add value to the selling process . Present sales , revenue and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management . Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status . Keeps self - updated with competitor activities/ strategies Provide on - the - ground support for sales associates as they generate leads and close new deals . Takes budget approval from the management for any sales/ marketing activities Graduate / post graduate degree in business administration or a related field . Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager , consistently meeting or exceeding targets . Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close .
