SAP Solution Analyst

Job Description

Solution Analyst will work closely with stakeholders across the organization with an understanding of the TC2 template.They would govern the solution and work with respective partners to shape up the right design/solution in line with the existing template.This position is expected to be proficient professionals in the SAP application, process design and have strong implementation experience.The position requires an experienced analyst who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization, work well in the teams, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems and manage service partners.Solution Design 30%Should be able to see the larger picture and drive end-to-end solutionsProvide/collaborate on arriving at solution designs across process/technology that meets business requirements and meet cost/delivery objectivesPerform reviews with key stakeholders throughout the design lifecycle to ensure alignment on solution designs and requirements. This may include but is not limited to the following activities: design discussions, client PoCs, Reviews, testing execution & deployment verificationsIdentify issues relating to missing or misinterpreted business requirements, so that corrective actions can be developed and applied accordingly. Work closely with service partner to ensure the issues are mitigated in the right wayResponsible for the quality of solutions that meet or exceed defined business requirementsGuide solution options and decision making to minimize the amount of project investment divergence from target architectureSolution confirmation 30%Assess to ensure that the Business Unit/Function needs are clearly captured and documented- both functional and non-functional requirementsFacilitate requirements discussions with key stakeholdersCommunicate and clarify the requirements to the design and development resourcesCollaborate/bring together all the key project SMEs and stakeholders as needed through out the project, using target architecture as guiding lightAnalyze and interpret data and information to provide solution decisions tied to processPlan for acceptance of solution (change management, communication, training needs)Assist in translating business requirements into functional design specificationsRelationship and People Management 30%Create and maintain long-term working relationships with technology teams, functional counterparts, vendors and business partnersEngage and influence business sponsors and users and contribute to their targeted business outcomesEngage and influence developers to ensure productivity and solution qualityAct as a coordinator to ensure infrastructure requirements are implementedBe a great team player and enable excellent delivery within/teamOther Project Delivery Responsibilities (may include some or all of the following) 10%Manage workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestonesProvides input to staffing plans at the project-level to identify key / required skillsHolds project team resources accountable to their deliverables and ensures project executionReview high and detailed level estimations of effort in order to achieve a preferred solution, Education, Experience, SkillsRequired QualificationsBachelor s degree or equivalent experience10 years of successfully working as a SAP Procurement(SAP MM) Functional consultant, business or solution analyst on medium to large scale projects.10+ years of SAP Design and Implementation experience inSAP ProcurementMaterial managementInventory managementQuality management(optional)Knowledge or exposure to SAP Logistics is an important good-to-haveProven record of interacting with the business users, Technical and other functional teamsKnowledge of and experience working within a business analysis capacity on large and complex projectsStrong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.Experience in working with ambiguity & Proven conflict resolution skillsAbility to understand the business, work across business units, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.Ability to travel up to 30%, domestic and/or internationalPreferred Qualifications:Knowledge or exposure to SAP Logistics is an important good-to-haveExcellent communication skills oral/writtenAbility to travel up to 30%, domestic and/or internationalProject demands may from time to time require work during non-standard business hours. An example would be during a system implementation at a plant which can only happen during scheduled downtime
