Job Description

Define architecture strategy, balancing long- and short-term views and balancing conflicting requirements (e.g. security vs. performance) in alignment with software leaders.Works with stakeholders to develop the architectural runway and spikes in support of new business features and capabilitiesWorks with teams, customers, suppliers, software leaders and product and solution management to define and design at high-level a solution / platform (incl. solution / platform intent, information models, and documentation requirements) and ensures fitness of purpose by focusing on consumer needs and technological competitivenessDelivers an optimal and consolidated architecture / design, leveraging technology and evaluating design alternatives including cost benefit analysisDefines system/items/units (for example components) and their interfaces, creating well defined building blocks, system options and scenarios.Allocates responsibilities to system/items/units, understands and supports solution deploymentEstablishes and communicates critical high-level functional and nonfunctional requirements.Owns implementation of non-functional requirements in area of responsibilityEnsures good and up to date documentation of the architecture and implementation thereof and responsible for overall solutions / product qualityInfluences and drives an accepted implementation of architectureCollaborates with and coaches agile teams to take and implement the appropriate system/items/units design decisions balancing applying emergent design with intentional architecture (e.g. in inspect and adapt workshops)Drives software craftsmanship. Might conduct also proof of concepts and code development activities Supports in backlog grooming and release planningHelp the team define and implement a solution which is suitable for hosting current and upcoming features within release trains, while conforming to nonfunctional requirements.Ensures creation and realization of architectures: products, solutions, services and software within a release train focusing on architectural and design decisionsMight conduct some code development activitiesMust have:Atleast 13+ yrs of working in developing Software products with atleast 34yrs in the role of a SW ArchitectShould have preferably worked across multiple technology stacks .Net, C#, Core Java - both front end and back end (.NET 4 and above, C#, MVC, Visual Studio IDE)Should have a sound knowledge of On Premise and Cloud deployment, infrastructure and developing applications leveraging Cloud services/infrastructure.Should have a strong understanding of developing applications using RESTful Web servicesDeep understanding of Object Oriented patterns and principles.Database design and integration with MS SQL Server. Good SQL/data modeling skillsExperience working on AD integration, IAM, Single Sign-on (SSO) implementation projects; Messaging and integration framework/systems like RabbitMQ, RhapsodyGood understanding of Healthcare quality and regulatory aspectsGood understanding of latest DevOps practices and the influence of architectural choices on DevOpsExperience in working in HealthCare domain, good understanding of Clinical workflows, Quality and Regulatory needs, Healthcare interoperability standards like HL7/DICOM is preferredMindsets and personal characteristicsYou will be part of a geographically distributed team. This will need a global mindset and an ability to work with teams across time zones.The individual should have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken. Multiple communication touch points can be anticipated.Should be a team player working as part of cross functional teams composed of R&D, operations, service and field deployment,
