Our data teams leverage these data sets to help our brand and retail clients build better products, build stronger relationships with their shoppers, and make decisions on when and where to offer products.We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, big data pipelines. The position will focus on building and improving services that make it easier for internal teams to harness the power of existing data pipelines to keep data flowing through Bazaarvoice systems to support client use cases.Expectations for our Software Engineers include:- 4+ years of experience building, refactoring and scaling Java applications- Good work experience with Message Queue - Kafka, Rabbit MQ, etc- Understanding about AWS - EC2, S3, RDS etc- Understanding about Elastic search.- Understanding and experience building high-performance, scalable algorithms.- Understanding of Agile or Kanban / Lean so ware development methodologies- Experience using modern build tools such as Maven, Jenkins, Github, etc. a plus- Be hands-on, willing to dig in and crank out code.- Be a learner, able to explore new areas, learn new things, and quickly apply them to solve new problems.- Be a spark, bring energy, passion and creativity to work every day.- Familiarity No-sql experience ( dynamo , mongo , Cassandra etc. )- Familiarity with Datadog or similar monitoring toolGood to have:Experience in Python, Ruby, Javascript. etc.,Exposure to OAuth/OpenidEducational Qualifications:B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech or equivalent#LI-Hybrid #LI-SR1Why join Bazaarvoice Customer is keyWe see our own success through our customers outcomes.We approach every situation with a customer first mindset.Transparency & Integrity Builds TrustWe believe in the power of authentic feedback because it s in our DNA.We do the right thing when faced with hard choices.
