The Sr. data Analyst utilizes technical expertise to ensure data is accurate and high-quality. Data is then analyzed, designed, and presented in a way that assists individuals, business owners and organizations make better decisions. Roles and ResponsibilitiesUsing automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sourcesRemoving corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problemsDeveloping and maintaining databases, data systems reorganizing data in a readable formatPerforming analysis to assess quality and meaning of dataFilter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicatorsUsing statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and predictionAnalyzing regional and global trends that impact both the organization and the industryPreparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant dataWorking with programmers, engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.Another integral element of data analyst is EDA or Exploratory Data Analysis Project. In such data analyst projects, the analyst needs to scrutinize data to recognize and identify patterns, use data modeling techniques to summarize the overall features of data analysis.Education & ExperienceBachelors / Masters degree in engineering or Science.5+ years of experience in the field of Data and AnalyticsKey SkillsStrong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze dataKnowledge of programming languages like SQL, R and PythonTechnical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation.Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, PowerBIKnowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms to datasets to find solutionsProblem-solving skills, Accuracy and attention to detailAdept at queries, writing reports, and making presentationsNetworking & collaboration skills in a global setup -Working experience with Europe, Americas and APAC stakeholdersExcellent Verbal and Written communication skillsProven working experience in data analysisExperience in working with data analytics & reporting platforms like KNIME and data processing platforms like Snowflake will be an added advantage
