The ideal candidate is responsible for the development and production operations in multiple module activities and projects. The individual will work to achieve stretch goals in a very innovative and fast paced environment while learning new technologies quickly and independently.Senior Data Engineer Responsibilities and DutiesBuild data pipelines with high efficiency, real- time monitoring while processing large amount of dataLoad extract and load activities for the daily / weekly operationsRunning and monitoring AirFlow workflows in multiple environmentsCreating and running data validation scriptsPreparing and reviewing data audit reportsInvestigate data anomalies and collaborate with team to solve issuesTravel RequirementsAvailable for onsite client visits as neededSenior Data EngineerQualifications and SkillsEducationBachelor s Degree in engineeringRequiredtwo to four years of experience in data engineering, developing data warehousing technologiesExperience building complex ETL in AWS eco systemExpert level skills in SQL, Python/ Scala and Airflow, R preferredExperience with CI/ CD and TDD development practicesExperience with Performance Testing, Tuning and OptimizationExperience working on cloud- based solutions like AWS, AzureWorking knowledge of LinuxWorking knowledge of one or more of the following: SQL, Python, Java or ScalaStrong communication and presentation skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical communicationsPerformer with energy and enthusiasmcombined with strong inter- personal skills with a desire to work collaborativelyHighly technicalworking knowledge of one or more of the following: SQL, Python, Java or ScalaInformation Security ResponsibilitiesUnderstand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System.Take part in Information Security training and act accordingly while handling information.Report all suspected security and policy breach to Infosec team or appropriate authority (CISO),
