Job Description

    Senior Embedded Firmware EngineerSenior Embedded Firmware EngineerWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Firmware Engineer with extensive experience in the development of Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips and SDK, specifically 802.11ax chips like the Maple, Cypress, and HalkEye family. The ideal candidate will lead the firmware development efforts for our innovative Wi-Fi solutions.Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of firmware for Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips, including the 802.11ax chips like Maple, Cypress, and HalkEye family. Debug and troubleshoot firmware-related issues in collaboration with the QA team. Write and maintain technical documentation for firmware development and testing processes. Continuously stay up to date with the latest firmware development trends, tools, and techniques.Requirements: 6+ years of experience in developing firmware for Qualcomm Wi-Fi chips, Vast experience with Qualcomm 802.11ax chips families: o Maple 50xx. NSS CPU, Q6DSP CPUo Cypress - 60xxo HalkEye - 80xx In-depth knowledge of the Qualcomm Wi-Fi chip architecture and SDK. The Phy and MAC (Media Access Control) levels development Proven programming skills in C and C++. Embedded Linux programming experience Experience with firmware development tools and methodologies, like TDD, Jira, Git. Work independently and effectively as a remote contractor Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
