Job Description

    Work with software development team to understand requirements, develop and deliver embedded software for various inhouse acquisition hardwares in arm and x86.Work with the hardware engineering team to integrate features that have a high degree of hardware/software interaction.Work with management to establish software timelines and ensure timely delivery of products.Work very closely with Project engineers to design and bring custom boards up from scratch.Exhibit strong people skills and cultural values that put the customer first, go beyond the standard, show strong ownership and innovate further.Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints.Exhibit strong people skills and cultural values that put the customer first, go beyond the standard, show strong ownership and innovate further.Our requirements On-the-job experience in writing software application to run on the hardware in C or C++Work experience in programming in C/C++, Python languages, shell / bash scriptsExperience in programming for different communication protocols such as SPI/UART/I2C/CANGood knowledge of Automotive CAN and Networking protocols - TCP/UDPAbility to use IDEs and various Debuggers.To develop and support applications in PC for test jigs and test tools for embedded systemsExperience with hardware device bootup and Embedded Linux Programming in boost frameworkLow-level hardware design exposureGood knowledge of working with any of the embedded Linux build toolsExperience using version control systems such as SVN, Git, Polarian etcWillingness to travel to Germany on an occasional basis
