Job Description

Your CareerWe are seeking a Senior Manager - Business Services who enjoys working independently, but collaboratively in a collegial team environment within a fast-paced dynamic company. You will be responsible for the effective management with responsibility for Business services functions in our Bangalore office. The position ensures soft services are operated in a customer centric and cost effective manner while providing a safe, clean, and comfortable work environment. The Senior manager - Business services, manages budgets, controls costs, and coordinates with service providers to ensure a great place to work for our employees.The role covers various services such as Janitorial,General admin, Employee transport, Food & beverage, Event management, Office supplies & stationery, Mailroom and beyond.Extensive interaction with internal and external customers is required to ensure seamless delivery of these services.Reporting to the Director, Places, you will work closely with Finance, IT, HR, and the Places team. We are seeking a colleague who enjoys working independently but collaboratively in a collaborative team environment within a fast-paced and dynamic company.   • Innovating and improving processes and scopes. Driving efficiency and effectiveness
  • Coaching and development of the Facilities team in the Bangalore office
  • Implementing Soft services function for the BLR office
  • Implementing a food program for the BLR office
  • Recommend continuous quality improvement practices and implement Industry Best Practices
  • Working with ultimately every employee and translating company culture, values, and strategies into practical application for the workplace
  • Building year plans and objectives that support our company strategy and business needs
  • Driving the change in our Bangalore office towards FLEXWORK. Experience in implementing new office concepts
  • Partner effectively with key groups such as IT, SAS, Procurement, Finance, and the People team- maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders to ensure that all concerned parties are well informed on relevant topics
  • Sourcing local services and goods needed to perform day to day operations through 3rd party suppliers
  • Executing professional supplier management
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences- this job requires you to be reachable outside working hours for emergencies
  • Using performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement
  • Implementing existing or new (global) processes/policies/procedures
  • Executing tenders- from preparing tender documents to signing off contracts in line with company policies and with involvement of right stakeholders and onboarding vendors
  • Having deep knowledge of soft services operations such as Janitorial, F & B, Transport operations
  • Developing and implementing sustainable ideas and solutions
  • Participating in or leading global project groups within the Places function
  • Understanding the impact you have on our carbon footprint and waste contribution, and knowing how to minimize this
