Supply Planning SpecialistYou will manage the ORACLE ASCP / DEMAND PLANNING / DEMANTRA overall implementation. Understanding of short-term (quarterly) and long-term (yearly) planning process for CPG Industry. Understanding and verifications of variances to management are critical success factors while tracking the plant/business performance (KPIs) to the established supply chain plan such as service goals, Days of Supply, and plant adherenceYou need to act as a Consultant to between Demand and Supply, Factories, Sales & Marketing and Demand Planning. Also good to understand Planning connect with Transportation, Warehousing and Customer Service for various clients to define and optimize processes and technologies.ResponsibilitiesThe position is responsible for Demand and Supply Planning with ORACLE ASCP / DEMAND PLANNING / DEMANTRA Interfaces to ensure the efficient delivery of inventory, service and cost objectives.Provides supply planning expertise to the overall Supply Planning process with end to end business understanding ex. commercialization of new products or resolution of key inventory shortage issues, Case fill issues etc.Define finished goods scheduling process assigned product group ex. System settings for Supply recommendations based upon scheduling parameters and system settings that are developed and maintained to support sales goals, inventory financial targets, as well as minimizing the age of product when shipped to a customer.Understand business and system to optimize and define finished goods inventories for assigned items in order to achieve the companys financial targets along with utilizing old age reports to determine action required to initiate salvage sale or disposal of productParticipate in department and company initiatives requiring the expertise of a supply planner. Activities could include but are not limited to consensus seasonal teams, new product introduction teams, supply chain cost optimization opportunities, or business process initiatives.
