Key Responsibilities:
In this lead role, you will own selection and qualification of Solid State Devices targeted to Nutanix, OEM and strategic partners platforms. Your key responsibilities will be to:
Must have a work experience & deep understanding on Platform architecture & roadmap (Intel/ AMD)
Must have hands on expertise on tools & architecture of Storage HBA (Broadcom / Microchip), Disk Drives (Flash/NVMe & HDD)
Should have a solid understanding & working of Enterprise Networking technologies (Non - RDMA, RDMA, DPDK, etc)
Must have hands on experience in Linux, ESXi/KVM environments, preferably in Data Center Technologies
Good working knowledge on Automation & strong debugging skills, preferably in Python
Must have obsession for Customer and hands on solving of Customer escalations with a flair a collaborate with multiple cross functional teams.
Good to have deeper knowledge & understanding on firmware and device drivers internals
Should have a great collaborative spirit to work with same/ cross - functional/ remote teams (SMEs/ Managers) leveraging soft skills & force effective & rightful decisions
Should have a flair for improving tools, techniques and methods to improve the Hardware qualification and debugging processes
Should have an eye for newer technologies (VMD, SPDK, Optane, DPDK, Redfish/Swordfish, NVDIMM, etc) and constantly validate their need into Nutanix Solutions
Should have a great collaborative spirit to work with same/ cross - functional/ remote teams (SMEs/ Managers) leveraging soft skills & force effective & rightful decisions
Required Skills and Experience:
BS/MS in EE/CS/CE with a minimum of 10 years of experience, 5 years in a lead role.
Strong problem - solving skills
Experience with Python or other scripting languages is highly desired.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
