Job Description

  • Responsible for the overall development life cycle of the solution and manage complex projects with significant bottom line impact.
  • Adopt a test-first approach to software development, where possible in which the test is developed before the code.
  • Work with product managers in developing a strategy and road map to provide compelling capabilities for the Dell back office products.
  • Work closely with senior engineers to develop the best technical design and approach for new product development.
  • Continuously evaluate software performance, identify performance degradation and opportunities to gain performance improvements valued by customers.
  • Challenge the status quo.
  • Encourage and use experimentation as a tool to achieve continuous improvement of team performance.
  • Take ownership of problems and continuously strive to become a better problem solver.
  • Instill best practices for software development, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules.
  • Project management - prioritization , planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions, recommend alternative technical and business approaches, and lead engineering efforts to meet aggressive timelines with optimal solutions.
  • Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services.
Essential Requirements
  • 12+ years of Experience in Software Engineering with relevant 4+ years of experience in software architecture role.
  • Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development.
  • Should have experience in Cloud based technologies, distributed programming and Object Oriented Programming constructs.
  • Oracle Apps (E-Business Suite) Technical consultant with 8-10 years of experience
  • Strong in developing PL/SQL Packages, Procedures, Functions.
  • Good in advanced concept of PL/SQL like collection
  • Should have Table level knowledge of Oracle Financials
  • Strong Knowledge in Oracle Workflow Builder, Creating custom workflow,
  • Strong hold on Data structures and Algorithms
  • Strong hold on Open Stack technologies
  • Strong hold on Programming languages like Java
  • Experience in working with Agile at Scale and extreme programming.
  • Live the principles behind the Agile Manifesto in all interactions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
