Job Description

About this Role: Cohesity seeks a dynamic Product Manager with strong technical skills and deep market knowledge that spans Storage Technologies (All-Flash, SCM), Hardware platforms, Cloud storage, Data protection, and product security. You will join our growing Helios Product team to build, integrate and expand Cohesity Helios software platform running on Cohesity, OEM hardware and Cloud infrastructure. You will drive features for Helios platform software spanning data management, security and compliance for our scale-out systems that run on-premises, managed data centers or in the cloud. Your contributions will accelerate our rapidly-growing business in growth and expand our footprint in the enterprise market.

Responsibilities

  • Define, develop and bring to market the next generation of disruptive data management platforms on-prem, in the cloud, solutions and partner integrations
  • Analyze customer needs, target markets and trends, competitive environments and partner offerings to identify business opportunities
  • Analyze customer needs, target markets and trends, competitive environments need to identify business opportunities to land and expand our business to different verticals ranging from managed service providers, regulated enterprises to small businesses.
  • Use market knowledge and expertise to formulate Helios unified on-prem, cloud platform strategy product integration and delivery strategy with ODM and 3rd party Storage vendors.
  • Strong awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements and how those relate to data management solutions on-premise and in the cloud, data security requirements for various customer verticals.
  • Apply product experience and the companys product capabilities with in-depth analysis to create products and validate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Responsible for creating Product requirements, Product pricing, Project plan, Product and Competitive Positioning, Product, Technical and Sales collateral

Requirements :

  • Minimum 5 years experience in product management developing and managing complete product life cycle from inception to EOL of security solutions
  • Strongly prefer candidates with a proven track record of launching software products that run on-prem platforms or in private and public cloud environments.
  • Good understanding of Enterprise readiness, platform supportability, interoperability, hardening, security, and compliance requirements
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and effectively and lead cross-functional teams
  • Ability to influence and negotiate across all levels of the organization through strong working relationships
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to build product cost models and forecasts, perform product and market comparisons
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and solve complex problems with available resources
  • Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification / experience.
