HelloWe have an opening with one of the leading IT MNC Company.Job Role: RPG Senior Software EngineerLocation: Pune / Bangalore/ HyderabadExperience: 7 to 10 YearsSkills required to contribute:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of building applications using RPG III, RPG IV (ILE), RPG Free format,RPG IV Fixed Format
  • Familiar with below tools
    • IBMi
      • Aldon Lifecycle Manager
      • PDM (Programming Development Manager)
      • SEU (Source Entry Utility)
      • SDA (Screen Design Aid)
      • RLU (Report Layout Utility) (hardly (if ever) used nowadays)
      • DBU (DataBase Utility)
      • RPGUnit (similar to Junit)
    • Windows
      • RDi (Rational Developer for i)
      • X-Analysis
      • Jira
      • Confluence
  • Experience designing production quality solutions considering performance, security and test automation
  • Keen to test first (unit, integration and functional testing) and pair program
  • Strong knowledge of SQL databases including creating stored procedures
  • Familiarity with various testing tools.
  • Excellent problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills, with an ability to quickly pick up new technologies
  • Great communication and attention to detail
