Senior Software Engineer

Job Description

Description ResponsibilitiesDevelop features on a complex multi- tenant SAAS based supply chain management application and ensure they are performant and scalable End to end ownership of features and enhancements including technical design, development, automated tests and production deployment. Participate in architecture and technical design reviews Work closely with QA team and to ensure successful feature testing and end- end regression testing is complete. Participate in daily scrums and collaborate closely with other R&D teams. Collaborate closely with other R&D teams to ensure integration features work well. Collaborate with external stake holders such as product management and services delivery to ensure product features meet business requirements. Collaborate with external groups within e2open such as professional services, customer success team or global support to resolve production issues. Work with our technical writers to ensure our software products and services are properly documented Requirements6+ years of experience in developing and supporting scalable java applications, application servers and related web technologies Experience working on a Linux/ Unix environment including basic scripting skills Strong database experience Oracle preferred and experience working with database technologies, SQL Strong understanding and experience with REST web services, JSON, XML, Javascript, HTML and Web technologies such as Angular, Bootstrap (Css). Must demonstrate knowledge of fundamental testing principles, concepts, and techniques. Experience with Testing, JUnit and other automated testing tools is a plus.
