    Digital Service Operations Management (DSOM)Location flexible: Bangalore or Pune or Mumbai officeHighly successful and geographically disperse Presales team, seek a Senior Solution Engineer to work closely with our sales team, enterprise customers and service providers to determine how we can best serve their unique needs through creating awareness of our solutions. This is a highly visible role working with some of our most successful sales teams, supporting prestigious enterprise clients and new logo accounts.DSOM is a combination of Service Management & Operations Management into a single, automated platform called Helix built on modern technology leveraging micro-services, cognitive AI and ML, containers and cloud. Our goal is to help deliver services faster, accelerate time-to-market, and lower cost and risk across your customers organizations. Therefore, we are relevant and why analysts keep putting BMC DSOM solutions in the lead of their quadrants and competitive analysis. About the role: Provide technical assistance throughout a world-class sales cycle to drive opportunities. Delivers and customizes technical presentations on BMC Solutions. Explains the value to customers, with associated use cases, required capabilities, and differentiation. Actively participates in sales calls to help manage technical requirements and simplify the needs and actions Identifies and develops innovative solutions to meet customer requirements. Focuses on large or complex sales opportunities with complex customer needs. Writes Proof of Value success criteria for a client s solution validation. Stands up the appropriate environment (On-Premises or SaaS) and manages the process to ensure success, communicating progress both to the customer and to the sales account management team. Provides demonstrations and presentations for BMC Webinars and Tradeshows/Marketing Events. Reviews RFP requirements from customers with sales and clients to establish the right solution and be consultative on whether to bid.Types of criteria we look for: Ability to communicate technical and business information to a varied audience (technical and non-technical customers). Technically savvy and bias towards Digital Operations Management, System Management, Capacity Management, IT Infrastructure/Server Management Experience working on our flagship DSOM portfolio: BMC Helix SaaS based solution, BMC TrueSight Operations Management, BMC TrueSight Capacity Optimization, BMC Discovery (ADDM) or any of our competitors products in this space is highly advantageous Awareness and possible experience in AI and Machine Learning Understanding of leading cloud provider technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is highly advantageous You have a value based consultative approach, in which you can adopt and articulate the value of our solution to address the customer s challenges. Ability to develop a broad awareness of the clients technical architecture and emerging technologies with enough knowledge to determine what is and is not possible. Analyse customer needs through research and troubleshooting followed with recommending a solution. Excellent interpersonal relationship building skills. Strong problem solving and analytical ability.
