Job Description

Location: Bangalore(preferred), Gurgaon (secondary- only if the candidate is exceptional)Working Hours: UK & US hoursYears of Experience: 6 to 8 yearsRequired Qualification:Mandatory

  1. Engineering or IT Degree.
  2. Strong fundamentals in RDBMS - PL/SQL, SQL SERVER 2008/2012/2016 (T-SQL) and exposure to deployment/sourcecontrol tools (Jenkins/Octopus & SVN/GIT/TFS)
  3. Basic understanding of Capital Markets / Asset Management Operations / Investment BankingAdded Advantage
  4. MS certification in SQL/Oracle
  5. Basic Capital Markets/Functional certifications
Deliverables and Tasks:
  1. Collaborate with the Product Management/Implementation team and contribute towards the stability and vision of theapplication based on the feedback from the end users and studying the industry trend.
  2. Lead technical implementations projects for new Clients and work on new client requirements with implementation team.
  3. Be the Product Owner and respond to business queries from Asset Managers and Brokers from technical as well asfunctional perspectives.
  4. Work with development and testing teams in new product development and existing product enhancements.
  5. Coordinate with the Asset Managers and CSA Brokers for understanding their requirements and work on client specificrequirements for Data/Configuration changes involving complex SQL scripting.
  6. Ensure application uptime and smooth running of the application by addressing application issues.
  7. Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve Data/Application/API issues and errors reported by Users.
  8. Peer review SQL code and mentor colleagues with less SQL experience.
  9. Utilise change /release management systems effectively
  10. Implement changes and improvements to the procedures and processes to cope with a rapidly evolving system environment.
    1. Conduct Demo/Trainings for clients & develop knowledge bases and in-depth documentation.
    2. Aspire to take responsibility of leading the team over the period, owning the process, and mentoring the team members
