Job Description

    * Description - External Schneider Digital DEVS working closely with the Energy Management & Industrial Automation is building the next generation of a fully integrated Platform as a Service (PaaS) for IoT on the Edge and on the Cloud. This platform capitalizes on all digital capabilities to accelerate EcoStruxure roadmaps across the company. An integral part of this Platform is EcoStruxure Exchange.EcoStruxure Exchange is responsible for opening up EcoStruxure to the external world through a Developer Portal exposing Open APIs / SDKs / Datasets and Analytics, a Developer Community that can collaborate and innovate, and a Digital Marketplace that can help monetize developer tools, apps and partner offers. The EcoStruxure Exchange Engineering organization is looking for passionate, experienced, and skilled Software Test Automation engineers to help us build, operate and scale Exchange with new content & features as well as targeting a larger set of users and partners around the world. Responsibilities & duties: As a Software Test Automation Specialist you will be part of an agile team implementing application solutions in the cloud and working on web-application testing. You will be expected to work in a flat organizational structure, interacting with architects, technical managers, business leaders and offer managersKey Responsibilities include:
    • Study and analyze the technical specifications to identify testing scope.
    • Write and execute test scenarios, test cases and test scripts using TDD approach and tools
    • Create / update automation test framework
    • Test and prove that the software meets major architectural requirements focusing on scalability and performance
    • Ensuring the quality of the system as a whole
    • Implement new tools and frameworks needed to streamline our testing process.
    • Participate in defect reviews and prepare test reports. Desired Skills / Competencies
    A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design & development with high levels of quality & reliability is essential., * Essentials:
    • 4+ years of experience working with Test Planning, Execution and Tracking tools like Jira
    • 2+ years of experience in developing automation scripts in Selenium & Java
    • 2+ years of experience working with build configuration tools such as TestNG, JUnit
    • Experience in working with Build tools like Maven & Gradle
    • Experience in API testing, automation, Git repository
    • Working experience in Agile methodology
    • Good Knowledge on all the Testing concepts
    • Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to learn domain business processes quickly
    • Bias to automate all repeated efforts by developing common utilities and scripts
    • Ability to adapt and pick up new skills and technologies
    Soft Skills:
    • Ability to work in team environment with clear focus on delivering solutions to business problems
    • Should be able to work in a global cross-cultural environment.
    • Ability to work in Agile SCRUM.
    • High Commitment to learn in a dynamic environment is a must and cannot be ignored.
    • Presentation and Demonstration skills are a must for working in Agile team environment
