Job Description

    Ship Design Engineers (Hull & Structure)We are looking for Ship Design Engineers (Hull & Structure) with Cadmatic-Hull proficiency for detail design services at Bangalore location.Job Position: Ship Design Engineers (Hull & Structure)Number of Positions: 2Experience: 2-4 years+ experience in commercial or Naval Design projects.
    1. ITI Mechanical Draftsman: 8-10 years+ experience in Ship Detail Design projects. (Hull/Structure)
    2. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering: 5-8 years+ experience in Ship Detail Design projects (Hull/Structure)
    • BE/BTech Mechanical/ B.Sc Shipbuilding: 2-4 years+ experience in Ship Detail Design projects (Hull/Structure)
    Software Proficiency: Cadmatic-HullEducation: ITI, Diploma, B. E, B. Tech- Mechanical, Naval ArchitectsJob Type: PermanentWork Location: BANGALORE
    1. Knowledge of creating Fairing of hull lines and surface.
    2. Knowledge of Curved Hull & Planar Hull modeling by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    3. Knowledge of Product Breakdown structure (PBS) numbers up to Level-4 of each Hull and Seating structural elements incorporation in Cadmatic-Hull as per client standard.
    4. Knowledge of curved and planar panels arranging in assemblies and subassemblies by using Cadmatic-Hull Assembly Module.
    5. Preparation of nesting plan of all plates with part number, making data by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    6. Preparation of CNC cutting program by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    7. Forming data and templates for curved shell plates and stiffeners by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    8. Unit wise part list of plates and stiffener (Bill of Material) by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    9. Unit wise production drawing with required information for construction by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    10. Unit wise assembly Planning Drawings by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    11. Preparation of least of stiffener cutting data by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    12. Skid heights for curved shell blocks by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    13. Skid drawing by using Cadmatic-Hull
    14. Providing weight and COG as required in drawings/ as required for
    production purposes by using Cadmatic-Hull.
    1. Bending-Template drawings are to be generated accompanied with 2D/3D bending-list. Following are the deliverables: -
    2. Bending-Template drawings ready to print in Cadmatic-Hull
    3. 2D/3D bending-list in MS Word & PDF format.
    4. Part-List, Profile-List, Nesting-list. Leftover-summary & Plate-
    Consumption-summary in MS Excel format.
    1. Minimum 5 years Experience in Cadmatic-Hull, by involving in execution of minimum two Naval Design projects.
