Simulation Lead An EP Simluation Lead is responsible for delivering Simulation models - Component wise and Circuit wise and tests modules for use in automotive environment. He or she should look into the details of the module circuit - blocks. For this reason he or she should have the complete knowhow of the design and technology. He or She is as well able to support layout, in depth Validation of Interfaces module, Debugging the models and circuits incorporated. Experiences: B.E / B.Tech or M.E / M.Tech in Electronics or equivalent Experience of 7 years & above in with HW - simulation tools (SABER & Matlab) Experience in Mathematical Analysis tools (Mathcad) Experience in HDL programming languages such as MAST, VHDL Experience in Power Electronics Design Experience in Leading a Team Core Responsibilities: Design of Simulation models for fulfilling automotive requirements, where no common module is available. Create schematics consisting of transceivers and embedded components. Ensure design compliance to specification Develop the electronic concept in coordination with mechanical design, manufacturing and quality requirements Create relevant production deliverables including Bill of Material, schematics, component placement and test specifications Perform and create design DFMEA Create relevant models & deliverables including EMC specifications, worst case analyses, thermal specifications, test specifications, EBOM, Schematics, HW/SW interface document, sub - circuit design documentation as well as validation plan for laboratory testing. Select and test new electronic components Perform design verification, Simulation and worst case analysis Evaluate and resolve internal or external engineering change requests. Creation and maintainance of design documents and design files Follow and worldwide quality manual and procedures Lead responsibilities: Support, Lead and actively participate in design reviews and Technical Reviews Be the Primary Contact for Simulation Engineering activities including Engine Control engineering, customer and suppliers. Management of Project Tasks and Deliverables and Component development activities Support keystakeholders meetings Support, advice to other engineers on technical applications and solutions. Gather Technical information to provide support and resolve technical issues, including but not limited to validation issues and platform design issues in ASIC level.
