Job Description

    Job Description Summary:Requires in-depth knowledge and experience in multiple Simulation tools, Simulation application custom development and support, simulation application license management tools and methodologies. Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experienceKey Responsibilities:Leading the CAE applications portfolio on the technical level, Own CAE customizations. Responsible for defining the technical solution for business problems identified and translating the business processes needs to fit existing CAE solutions, define integrative architecture and solution. Working close with cross functional IT dept / other functions to effectively handle integrations.Driving the technical Solution in complex business functionality (Application level), escorting and support the projects implementation team by the DeliveryDrive the solution technical design, planning and deployment of various CAE cots applicationsAnalyzes and validates functional requirements, ensure applications solutions address the business need and Integration viewHandle L3 tickets of CAE applications (Ex. Ansys, ESI CFD, JMP, Matlab, macroflow, Light tools, etc)Provides technical guidance/leadership to support team of L1/L2Own execution of easa developmentMaintain easa infrastructure for high availabilityWork Closely with relevant business partner and SME and with Project manager on estimation, feasibility, cost, time and compatibility with hardware and other programsCollaborate with the IT cross functional teams (data, security, and infrastructure)Lead the assessment of new emerging CAE tools, feasibility analysis for new initiatives, technical validation, POC / demo and other evaluation processDefine nonfunctional requirements, performanceUsage of OpenIT and/or Altair SAO tools for license management and working with simulation software suppliers to manage corporate licensesEducation Qualification:ME/BE MechanicalRelevant Experience:6-8 years related experience in CAE disciplineHands-on CAE tools experience (Ansys, ESI CFD, JMP, Matlab)Experience in CAE tools customizationsEASA (low code platform) development experience is a mustSimulation applications license management experience is very desirableExperience in Python, VB is a plusTeam player, Strong listening, oral and written communication skills with the ability to persuade and create trust with multiple audiences at all (internal and external) organizational levelsExperience in working simultaneously on multiple projectsStrong aptitude to learn and evaluate new Tools/ technologies thoroughly and quickly, Proven skills in problem solvingKnowledge and experience with corporate back-office applications and technologiesFunctional KnowledgeDemonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplinesExpertiseHas knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the marketLeadershipActs as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirementsProblem SolvingSolves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information,
