Job Description

  • Role at least 5+ years of experience in the Hadoop infrastructure stack.
  • Experience in deploying/configuring core Apache Hadoop and related infrastructure
  • Experience in tools integration, automation, configuration management systems.
  • Having good hands-on experience on the Hadoop infrastructure stack (Ex: HDFS, Map Reduce,HBase, Spark, Hive, YARN, Zookeeper, etc).
  • Proficiency in any scripting language(Shell, Python, Perl) to automate repetitive manual tasks.
  • Able to quickly debug and identify the root cause and arrive at an optimized solution for any issues in the Hadoop cluster.
  • Good understanding of cluster management using Ambari and well understanding of configuration parameters.
  • Ability to set up High availability to key Hadoop components. ( Namenode, Hbase, Yarn Resource manager)
  • Good understanding and/or experience in enabling security in Hadoop clusters using Kerberos and Ranger.
  • Exposure in cluster maintenance activities like balancing the data nodes, balancing HBase region servers, expanding the cluster.s and Responsibilities.
