You will lead the design & development of a suite of state of the art GUIs for next generation Sports Broadcasting applications. Your tasks also include interaction with GUI/ Ergonomy/ skin specialists &, co-ordination with other snr. product engineers, and mentoring of product engineers. You will primarily work from our Bangalore office in electronics city, but may be required to spend time with our spin-offs/ affiliates in Switzerland.Your ProfileA versatile C programmer with a special passion for developing advanced GUIs for mission critical applicationsAcademic Qualifications :Engineering BE/ BTECH ( preferably in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science ), ideally with a Masters ME/ MTECH specialisation in Graphics, Media ProcessingWork Experience :a minimum of 2 yrs and ideally 3 Yrs in development of modules related to development of advanced GUIs preferably for media applications such as multimedia players and Audio/ visual analysis. Additional experience in the development of touch-screen based applications & mission critical, high availability GUI systems based on multi-threading will be an advantage. Exposure to applications development in Live broadcasting and Production, preferably in sports broadcasting will be a strong advantage.Programming Skills :Proficiency in C along with one or more Industry SDKs for GUI development in Linux/ windows environment is mandatory. Proficiency in Linux / Unix Shell Scripting is also expected.Domain Knowledge : Good knowledge of all key concepts behind the development of advanced GUIs is mandatory. Additional understanding of concepts behind touch screen based interfaces and issues related to stability/ ergonomy/ speed in GUI development will be a strong advantage.Aptitude :Enthusiastic, creative, team player and excellent communicator in English (spoken and written). Candidates with a demonstrated interest in sports will be given preference. ,
