Job Description

    The Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group (AXG) is a newly formed group to increase focus and accelerate execution in strategic growth areas of high-performance computing and graphics for Intel. Within AXG, the Custom Compute (XCC) organization is chartered with building custom SOC silicon and packages to deliver unique solutions for customer needs. In this position, the candidate will be responsible for microarchitecture of Subsystem and SOC development for one or more SOCs. As part of this role, the individual is expected to work with various cross functional teams like Architecture, Design, Validation, DFT, Backend, Technology and Manufacturing. The individual is responsible to lead the development right from the Architecture phase and oversee the execution all the way from till timing closure and tape-out. The opportunity includes working on integrated as well as chiplet architectures using UCIe.Qualifications Qualifications: Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and 10+ years of experience in relevant areas. MicroArchitecture experience with at subsystem or SOC level integration, preferably in any Controller design like PCIe, USB or Ethernet Strong understanding of SOC globals like clocking, reset, boot and power management flows, low power design techniques, security. Familiar with quality checks like CDC, Lint, VCLP, LEC Strong technical leader who communicates well with great collaboration skills Good understanding of other domains like pre-si DV, physical designInside this Business Group The focus of Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics (AXG) is to accelerate our execution in strategic growth areas of high-performance computing and graphics.
