Job Description

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc.As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or designing software applications or operating systems according to provided design specifications. Build enhancements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.Duties and tasks are standard with some variation; displays understanding of roles, processes and procedures. Performs moderately complex problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and processes. BS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 1 year of software engineering or related experience., Department Description :Join Oracles Cloud native applications development team to create core mobile applications in the 5G network. Oracle s cloud native applications enables routing, traffic management and load-balancing tasks to create an architecture that enables your 5G networks to grow incrementally to support increasing service and traffic demands.Job Description:This is a Software developer position that will involve the following :Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, maintain and support Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) frameworks, tools, services and libraries leveraging public cloud infrastructures
  • Develop self-service capabilities for platform components and transparent platform-level features to address cross-cutting concerns
  • Work closely with architects, designers and other engineers in a tightly knit agile team
  • Evaluate new tools and technologies through POCs and propose solutions for implementation
  • Practice strong software development principles and best practices: Test-driven development (TDD), CI/CD, code refactoring, coding standards, etc.
  • Document best practices, guides, systems design, reference architectures and implementations
Required Skills:
  • Experience with Multi-container Pod Design patterns.
  • Deployment and rolling updates, rollbacks.
  • Jobs and Cronjobs.
  • PersistentVolumeClaims for storage.
  • Logging, Debugging, monitoring applications in Kubernetes
Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following areas are required:
  • 2-3 years experience implementing applications in the Container Platform.
  • Proven experience with OpenStack, Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of major Cloud Providers such as AWS and Azure.
  • 2-3 years of Experience deploying CI/CD pipelines in an enterprise environment.
  • 1-2 years working with containerized application deployment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with remote teams and communicate the priorities.
  • Base Tools: Openstack, Ansible, Kubernetes, Docker and Jenkins.
  • Good working knowledge of at least one Source control system - Git, Stash, SVN, etc.
  • Working Knowledge of the wireless network architectures (in particular 5G, 4G/LTE, EPC)
  • Working experience in IP networking, transport, and mobility protocols
  • Development/design experience in creating cloud native architectures and solutions is highly desirable
  • Working experience in standardization/industry organizations such as 3GPP, IETF, and ONAP is highly desirable
  • Knowledge in one or more programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.)
Knowledge and/or experience in one or more of the following is preferred:
  • API centric architectures and solutions
  • Algorithms and distributed systems
  • Microservices
Job Requirements:BS/MS in computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.A minimum of 2+ years of software development experience.
