As part of this team, you will help build cloud services, tools, and APIs to help our customers migrate to the Cloud. You will work with a talented team of engineers, product managers, and architects, and have the chance to directly contribute to Atlassian s top OKR (Shift our customers to the cloud), delivering work that will directly impact our customers and the company s bottom line.On your first day, well expect you to have:
• 4 years of experience building and developing backend applications.
• Strong depth of knowledge in the following technologies: Java or Kotlin.
• Experience building services from the ground up is preferred from gathering requirements, design, build, deploy, and ownership.
• Experience designing APIs, coupled with a passion for writing clean code.
• An operational excellence mindset.
• Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
• Bachelors degree with a preference for Computer Science degree
If youve got some of these skills, even better:
• Experience developing and operating services in AWS or similar public cloud providers.
• Experience developing and architecting micro-services.
• Experience in continuous delivery and the DevOps mindset.
