Working effectively with product managers, designers, and business teams to deliver the best overall experience factoring in usability goals. Working closely with engineers to architect and develop the best technical design and approach. Establishing a consistent, scalable engineering framework and excellent development processes. Owning and report on status of development, quality, technical operations, and system performance. Instill best practices for software development and documentation, assure designs meet requirements, and deliver high-quality work on tight schedules. Project management - prioritization, planning of projects and features, Stakeholder management and tracking of external commitments. Operational Excellence - monitoring & operation of production services. Career management and development of direct reports. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: A Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience 10+ years of Software Development experience; 5+ years of experience in leading engineering teams Deep hands-on technical expertise Solid software development background including design patterns, data structures, test driven development Expertise in C#, C++ and Linux/ Windows frameworks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Managed a team of 10+ software development engineers Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall methodologies PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline Strong business and technical vision Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a track record of shipping software on time.,
