Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidatesMinimum Requirements: Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar STEM degree 3+ years of experience with the following: o C/C++ programming o Operating systems such as Windows, Linux and/or Chromeo Expertise working on PCs and/or embedded systems o Experience in software development, debug, validation and/or integration o Data structures, OOPs concepts, computer architecture, operating systems, and/or multithreaded programmingo Technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines associated with defined projects, and applies knowledge to accelerate project completion o Experience with tools for software version control and bug trackingo Using your strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to work independently as well as in agile teamo The candidate must be confident, self-sufficient and a quick learnero Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills Preferred qualifications: 2+ years of experience with any of the following: o Python programmingo Knowledge of Computer architecture, ideally Intel platformso Debug kernel/driver expertise may be requiredo Firmware or BIOS development experienceo Windows operating system fundamentalso Agile/Scrum expertiseo Familiar with build automation using Jenkins, Github, Team City, Artifactoryo working with teams across different GEO locationsInside this Business GroupThe Client Computing Group (CCG) is responsible for driving business strategy and product development for Intels PC products and platforms, spanning form factors such as notebooks, desktops, 2 in 1s, all in ones.
