The Who, What, Why and Where Location : India The Studio team at Twilio is seeking a Software Engineer (L2) to build and scale the next generation of Studio, Twilio s low code no code platform. This role will help develop and deliver new capabilities in the Twilio Studio. You will be a member of a scrum team who will design, implement, own and operate Studio services end to end in the cloud. You will be working closely with the team lead & Product Manager and will have the opportunity to propose innovative solutions to solve the exciting technical challenges. Members you will work with will be distributed in the USA and Asia Pacific.Twilio Studio ( https://www.twilio.com/studio ) is our low-code visual application platform for building communication workflows. Its the fastest way to build and scale applications like IVRs and chatbots on Twilio. If you re excited by the idea of making it easier for professional and citizen developers to build these communication workflows and want to work on interfaces that enable Twilio s customers, please read further.You have:
• 2-4 years of software development experience of highly scalable distributed systems.
• Experience in developing and managing systems and services including technologies like React, JavaScript, HTML, CICD, Devops and other AWS services. Also have experience with backend technologies such as Java, RESTFul APIS, Java, RESTFul APIS, Cassandra, MySQL and DynamoDB.
• Experience in container technologies - Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with Micro Frontend architecture and implementation
• Solid understanding of automation mechanisms, leveraging existing tools to ensure stable, clean, well-tested code gets deployed to production through CI/CD Pipelines.
• Passion for identifying bottlenecks and refactoring the code while meeting the Definition of Done
• Experience in troubleshooting and solving customer issues.
• The ability to communicate well- in person, on paper, or in code- at multiple levels.
• The ability to acquire new technical skills and knowledge in a fast-paced, highly disruptive industry environment.
• Iterative development and deployment, Scrum and Agile methodologies
• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
