Job Description

    Job Responsibilities
    • Lead software/test design efforts, including authoring and reviewing proposals
    • Schedule, direct, and monitor software/test design activities to ensure the project is accomplished within the prescribed time frame and budget
    • Architect, design, implement, verify, and support complex software/test automation systems
    • Accept technical responsibility for the project and staff working on the project
    • Work closely with all stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of the product or service
    • Clearly communicate and present designs and tradeoffs to development/testing team, customers, and potential customers
    • Support internal and external customers
    • May visit customer site to provide support
    • Offer mentorship and Technical guidance for junior engineers
    Minimum Qualifications
    • Typical 12+ years of experience with BS or MS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
    • experience in UVM based verification of FPGAs and/or ASIC and specifically, Xilinx SoC devices
    • Prefer experience working on Xilinx Zynq based systems and interfacing with an application running on an RTOS at the application layer.
    • Knowledge of digital signal processing: FFT, FIR, IIR. Must be well versed in communications protocols (SPI, I2C, EtherCAT, Ethernet, RS232).
    • Should have owned and setup test automation infrastructure to enable release management.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Design, setup, and write software to control lab test setups for FPGA validation.
    • Validate FPGA RTL blocks with unit level testbenches.
    • Proficient in scripting languages for building, simulating and running FPGA based designs.
    • Communicate with written documentation including block, timing and finite state diagrams.
